Unesa .ac.id Surabaya - In response to the change in the Study Program Accreditation Instrument (IAPS) 4.0 which was previously seven standards into nine criteria the University held a Socialization (IAPS) that presented a guest speaker at the BAN-PT Executive Board Sugiyono Ph. d.
Dean of the Language and Arts Faculty as the opening act Dr. Tri Sakti M.Sc. said that this change was caused by the development of instruments demanded by the times so that it had an impact on accreditation instruments in the field of study.
This was also agreed by the source Sugiyono. According to him the high competition must quickly adapt to all changes and be ready to face it. If you do not want to improve the quality of the institution there will be a shift with foreign universities coming to Indonesia.
& ldquo; So we must be prepared in any case if there are foreign universities entering Indonesia we must also improve the quality of institutions in the face of intense competition & rdquo; Sugiyono said.
The aim of this socialization is the first so that all leaders in Unesa understand the accreditation process at Unesa or as a whole both all elements starting from the dean vice dean one quality assurance to the head of study program understand the instruments and preparation of LKPS and LED (Self Evaluation report) and all three elements in Unesa understand that the formulation of forms is carried out by UPPS (Study Program Management Unit).
In this implementation it is expected that in compiling accreditation forms in a timely manner which secondly compiling a self-evaluation report on time because accreditation has been established six months before the accreditation period expires and must have been submitted thirdly in the process of quality assurance must carry out the process in accordance with the PPEPP cycle (Planning Implementation Evaluation Control and Improvement).
This activity is carried out as a form of implementing the Unesa target which must have 85 percent of the product already in line ditasi A in 2020. (why/tni)
